A PMID is used to identify which research study provided a particular piece of information in PubMed, an online medical resource of over 28 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. PMIDs are assigned to each article record when it enters the PubMed system and is always found at the end of a PubMed citation.

You can search PMIDs at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ to learn more about the research that contributed to any finding in your Molecular You report.
